Overall:
5.00USER (11Jan01): Brecht's fast-action pkay hits LOndon it what only can be called a memorable fashion. The play revolves around the trails and tribulations of Anna Friel, better known as Mother Courage. And it is within this pretext that we meet a whole range of characters, all of which stereotyped to perfrection in order for BRecht's point to get across. Shared Experience the company that produced this performance were onto a good thing when HUnter and CArmicheal came to the roles. Due to the what could only be discribed as pheonomal way that Hunter carries herself as Courgae. But Carmichael turns in an unforgetable performnce as Kattrin, Courages' dumb daughter. It is this performance that left me with an etching to sing it's praises to the top of my lungs. Telling one and all how real it seemed. My verdict is do what ever you can to see this production, you won't be disappointed. 5
