Set in an occupied territory, the mother and the boy develop an unexpected understanding after he forcibly moves himself into her home. But the news that her only son has been killed at the front unleashes a tide of bitterness and violence.

USER (06Mar06): an amazing production that grips you from beginning to end. The journey of the two charcters is no surprise to the audience but the gentle unfolding of their respective stories and their tragic relationship is captivating. 5
