Motherland is a specially commissioned production to remember the 200th anniversary of the Abolition of the Slave Trade Act. Telling human stories of slavery, indentured labour and migration set against an epic historical backdrop, the production brings together international artists from India, Africa, the Caribbean and the UK in a spectacular combination of music and dance, theatre and visuals.
