There they meet Isherwood's old friend, the poet W H Auden. Based on Britten's diaries, this is a glimpse into the friends' relationship and experiences of London's pre-war gay underworld. Very Pleasant Sensations celebrates the centenary of Britten's birth. White Rose - During World War II Russia was the only country to allow female fighter pilots to engage in battle. White Rose tells the true story of ?Double Ace' Lily Litvak, the first woman to shoot down another plane, and the battles she had on the ground to win the respect of the men in command.
