Dodd and his son, Zak, live by the season of mushrooms. Across their county of East Sussex they know every species, where they grow, which are edible and which are poisonous. This knowledge not only scratches them a living from selling the fungi to fancy restaurants, but also feeds Jed's obsession to buy back the family farm.
