An international cast combines clowning, puppetry, slapstick and live music in an exploration of histories sweeping power and its effects on small lives. My Long Journey Home charts the true story of a Hungarian soldier fighting for the Germans during World War II. His amazing journey takes him via capture on the Eastern front to enslavement in a Soviet gulag and institutionalisation in a mental hospital. Finally, and almost unbelievably, he arrives back in his home village over fifty years after he originally left. Age 8+
