OJ Othello
T0407825231
This is the story of OJ Simpson the black man, who rises from the ghetto to become embraced by white mainstream society; the same society that watches his downfall with glee. It deals with the inner torment of crossing race and culture and the price of fame. The forces that pushed OJ into so much trouble are cross cut against the story of Shakespeare's equally troubled Othello, who driven to insecurity and jealousy by the lies of Iago, murders his white wife. Edinburgh Fringe First Award Winner 1998.
