On One Day
T346988042
This charming new work explores the evacuee experience during World War II. It is evocative and thought-provoking musical theatre, set to moving original music and song, and portrays both the good times and the challenges faced by young people in the late 1930's and 1940's. The talented young cast brings to life those former times, and carries you through memories of an experience which so many of our parents and grandparents will always remember. Through the main character of George Tanner, a young butcher's son from Pimlico, this heart-warming love story powerfully portrays the separation and social dislocation brought about by war.
