T2049368936 A colliery brass band is going to a competition in Blackpool and discovers that Wally, their star cornet player can no longer play because he has pneumoconiosis. They try to persuade Wally to get out of his sick bed but to no avail. It is only then that they are forced to employ the services of the mad Welshman, Psycho.
