Othello

T1123535458
Othello, a Moor, falls in love with Desdemona but is broken by jealousy falsely encouraged. Shakespeare's most human play sets delicacy and power, trust and jealousy, love and hate, good and evil in stark and tragic opposition. Powerless in the face of their own self destructive instincts, the characters are caught on a downward spiral towards inevitable tragedy.

User Review: 17Jan14: A powerpact evening full of passion, plots and powerful performances. This was an evening well spent that engaged me within moments of the start. The audience was enraptured by the staging and costumes and way this adaptation was played out. Comedic elements combined by the bewitching and beguiling plot for Othello's downfall are most splendidly enacted. The players are wonderfully cast and I'm even thinking of going to catch it a second time. Definitely worth at least a first viewing. Go see!!
