Production details
Little Rose lives with her dad at the bottom of a tall, tall tower block. One day, he asks her to take some soup and supplies to her sick aunt on the top floor, but half way up the tower block there is a power cut... Surrounded by disarming and frightening inhabitants, this darkly twisted tale sees Rose battle to turn the power on and shine a light on the monsters in her life. But overcoming fear is no small task, especially when the darkness can turn the world against you. How well do you know your neighbours? Can you see the truth in the dark? Which one is the wolf? Panphobia is a site influenced performance, based on the fairy tale ‘Little Red Riding Hood’. The play draws inspiration from the concepts of fear and phobias and reflects urban societal fears and communal worries. The piece also studies the personal relationships that are created by a transient big city environment.
