Paradise Lost tells the story of Lucifer and his fallen angels' defeat in the war in heaven, their subsequent plunge into Hell and, once there, their malevolent regrouping. There follows the great journey of Satan through deep space to the newly made planet Earth and his temptation of Eve in the Garden of Eden, leading to the Fall of Mankind.

Some powerful scenes, especially Satan and his cronies addressing hell political rally style complete with interpreter. Also Adam and Eve - post fall - getting dressed into their 21st century office worker 'uniforms' and being mocked by showground Satan. Very clever and unexpected. [Though the low key final 'crucifixion' scene that followed seemed to suffer by comparison.] I loved the sound effects, clanking lifts and doors, and also the twinklng universe. Provoked lots of discussion.
