Party

T1217474975
A multilingual social satire. Mirroring the hypocrisies of the cultural and intellectual glitterati, PARTY explores the power play, and nepotism that exist in society. Leading socialite, Indira Sinha throws a party to honour novelist, Dibakar Banerjee, Dramatic encounters and contradictions culminate in the death of a talented and aspiring young poet. An Indian story told in English and interspersed with Hindi and Bengali, PARTY appeals to a universal audience - expect a show interwoven with Indian art forms including live recitation of contemporary Indian poetry and Hindustani classical music, which combine to make this a show certain to spice up your evening.
