Petula Grace moves with her parents to an old bookshop in a sleepy Cornish village. Whilst exploring her new home, she comes across the time-travelling book, a music chest and a magic hat that can't help arguing with its wearer! To make matters worse she has awoken the spirit of Captain Black and he wants his belongings back!
