Mess by Caroline Horton - A story about neurosis, obsession and not wanting to get out of bed. Welcome to Josephine’s show. (Boris helps... he is important too...well quite important and always does his best). Unflinchingly the pair confront big issues (and extremely tiny ones) and today they will tackle one particularly thin elephant in the room. Two clowns, some madness and a giant duvet.
I Promise To Swim The Channel (or the story of how I might) by Francesca Millican-Slater - The sea makes my heart lurch like seeing an old lover, makes my stomach contract like meeting a new one. In order to be close to it, to really get to know it I have decided to swim the channel. Come September 2012. This is a swim demonstration of the facts that I find and the stories that scatter the channel between this country and France. Little bits of information and tips for preparation that I have begun to collect in this (very slow) process of readying myself for the swim. The beginning of the story.

It is a performance that questions our perceptions of horror; a performance full of darkness and silence; a performance that lies always in the shadow of some horrific act.
