Preying Minds

T354273319
A fast-paced five hander, and an all women production, Preying Mantis provides an honest, if at times strongly worded, account of domestic violence, prostitution and above all lesbian relationships. It's a play that makes you think, feel and understand the similarities that exist between an ex-con, asked to help the police as they seek a female serial killer and the killer herself. Both the profiler and the killer are linked together forever in a bid to stay alive: the audience and characters become less and less sure as to who is the prey and who is the predator. Preying Mantis is a bold and demanding piece of theatre that uses a mixture of psychology and power to understand the relationships that exist between five very different women.
