Drawing on his own and other's experiences of the misconceptions, stigmas and barriers that mental illness presents, Gareth Jandrell, winner of the Tobacco Factory's Script Space 2010, presents a darkly comic look at the realities of mental illness. Razor-blade sharp, jet-black, and as humorous as the gallows can possibly get, Pure O presents a fish eye view of a man fighting a battle no one else can see.
