(Ndebele to chance upon, to see suddenly, to see for the first time). Qabuka is based on the true-life testimonies of Zimbabweans-in-exile. The last 4 years have seen over 15,000 people abandon a country in crisis many fleeing persecution and torture to become part of England's asylum system. This multi-disciplinary production explores their relationship both to their new home and some are politically active, whilst others have no voice in the political manoeuvring which will determine the future of Zimbabwe.
