Three women: a nurse, her patient and an elderly housekeeper, are forced together in an isolated Northumberland house. But who is the figure lurking outside? Is it a figment of a hysterical woman’s imagination? An intruder? Or could it be the previous master of the house; a beekeeper, returned from the dead with his angry swarm? A contemporary gothic ghost story with a psychological twist.
