Raw

RawT1168155180
Raw is the second play in Coventry-based writer Chris O'Connell's urban trilogy. The first in the series Car, proved a massive hit at the Edinburgh Festival '99. Set in the mad world of graffiti and street crime, Raw has the same high-octane pace that fuelled Car, but this time the protagonists are female. Streetwise and sussed, living life out of control and running out of luck, three young girls and one boy look for excitement - seeking revenge on a system that has failed them. Brought up in a household steeped in violence, Lex, the self-appointed leader of the gang is shocked and exhilarated yet trapped by her own compulsion to continue the cycle.
