A show that challenges expectations and takes the audience beyond simple anecdote to rare theatrical experience. Seated together around a large table six actors take their place next to the spectators. One hundred years of one family s continuous struggle to escape the constraints of everyday life is explored in a production full of strange magic. Spanning the years 1900 to 2000, stories of meetings, departures, births, marriages and deaths emerge and recede. Playing with ideas of narrative and destiny, Ross and Wren create a fascinating pageant of human hope and experience that resonates long after we get up and leave the table.
