Resident Alien

T0402925227
A play based on the life and writings of Quentin Crisp. While waiting for the arrival of yet more visitors to his overcrowded and famously filthy apartment in the East Village, 91-year-old Quentin reflects on life, the century he has lived through, and subjects as diverse as Princess Diana, Ophrah Winfrey and oral sex. The play has been written with Quentin's full co-operation and with exclusive use of his New York diaries. It provides a fascinating insight into the thinking of one of the most original English eccentrics, who lived alone in a tiny bedsit that hasn't been dusted for eighteen years. Quentin Crisp died after the run of this play began in November 1999.
