T1468191444 (RIVER01)As the drama unfolds, Daniel Kramer's production reveals elements of aerial acrobatics that combine with classical acting to create real poetry in motion. Classic scenes such as the infamous balcony tryst are given new life as Romeo woos Juliet from a trapeze and their famous love scene is played out on top of a circus silk. The costumes, designed by Givenchy's Andrew Heather, resonate with the power, shape, texture and opulence of this classic couture house.
