A unique collaboration between young North East composer and jazz saxophonist James Russell and London based contemporary dancer and choreographer by Marie Lawrence. Based on James' original Romeo and Juliet Jazz Suite, this emotive piece of live theatre features superb performances form the eight musicians, three dancers and one vocalist. Using an undeniable chemistry between instruments and performers, these fourteen compositions in two acts, depict exactly, the classic love story through to its tragic and emotional conclusion.
