Seeing Red

Seeing Red, is a powerful piece of theatre written by local drama group, Melodramatics. Using their own experiences of domestic violence to inform the piece, Seeing Red explores how even the simple act of choosing a bra can have devastating consequences for women in abusive relationships. The members of Melodramatics have created Seeing Red to raise awareness of domestic violence, to create a dialogue that empowers people to make changes in their own lives. This project is a partnership between the Octagon Theatre and Bolton at Home.
