Sid Hayat believes that good luck follows his wife and tells us how marrying her has changed his life. Born in Pakistan, Sikander (Sid) Hayat moved to Wales aged 14 with his mother, brothers and sisters to join his father whom he hadn t seen for nine years. Ten years later he moved to Newcastle, to set up Sid s Shop on Warwick Street in Heaton, which he still owns and runs today.
