The S+K Project's cofounder and Associate Director Steven Kavuma brings a brand new reworking of HOME to SKFEST 2018, a verbatim play written by Nadia Fall, originally performed at the National Theatre in 2013. HOME features six actors, the majority of which live in and around Tottenham, who have worked with Steven to sensitively delve into the lives and true stories of the plethora of characters in the play. The nuanced piece boldly encapsulates the number of ways that young people can end up homeless or sleeping rough, and highlights the trials, tribulations and traumas of these real experiences. In a period of continued austerity and where the landscape of Tottenham is constantly changing, S+K takes this timely piece to the heart of the area - and brings to the forefront the question of what "home" really is.
