Peter Kemp believes you cannot work for artistic success, that gallery owners are fakes and crooked and that his friends are conspiring against him. No wonder he's broke, is trying to kill his girlfriend and has recently acquired obsessions with home decorating and Nietzsche.
Sofa, is a dark comedy about the art of not selling out. What can you do when your girlfriend thinks your best friend is a genius and your flatmate produces 'art' from junk then sells it for a fortune? When nobody listens to you it's time to open your mouth that bit wider.
