Sold tells the harrowing and often dehumanising story of some of the 15 million women and children who are sold into the sex trade each year. Anya, Eva and Katja believed they were coming to Britain to work in legitimate jobs with the hope of a new life. Poor and destitute, they needed money and easily trusted anyone.
