Someone Has Been Disarranging These Roses archiveRosal del Virrey, an illusory village that was arid and without direction and so far from everything no one would have suspected that someone capable of changing the destiny of anyone lived there. Even its name was a kind of joke because all the roses in that village were dead. Based on the short stories of Gabriel Garcia Marquez and commissioned for Angelfest '99, the play represents a response to the elements, characters and themes that most excite the imagination and creative energy within the world of the magic realist stories. The production blends physical theatre techniques with a bilingual text that is beautiful and poetic.
