Humour and suspense combine to keep audiences on the edge of their seats in this hugely enjoyable play. At 14, Mia is at a difficult age. Stuck in an isolated cottage as her 'health freak' mother searches for a rare herb, she finds herself drawn to Esme, an eccentric post-mistress who claims to be 'one quarter supernatural'. Esme is also at a difficult age: at 120 she has outgrown the world and wants only to return to her long dead mother.
