It follows a 7 year old autistic girl as she struggles to make sense of a complicated world. In her innocence she plumbs the darkest places with a constant sense of hope, naivety and humour. Spoonface explores her family life, her Jewish heritage and her surprising obsession with opera. The play is interwoven with opera arias sung by Maria Callas.
