Star Child

Star ChildT0128015034
When a poor woodcutter finds a baby boy abandoned in the woods, he takes the child home and raises him as his own. The boy grows up to be beautiful in the extreme, but also arrogant and cruel. When his mother appears, a poor beggar woman, he rejects her and is cursed by having his beauty turned to ugliness. Setting out to find her gain forgiveness, the star child learns a painful lesson in humility and generosity. Oscar Wilde's touching children's story combines a great lesson in humanity with beautiful costumes, enchanting sets and magical puppetry to captivate audiences of all ages.
