Sweetheart archiveExploring the rift between men and women and the sex war of dissatisfied and unfocused Thatcher Children, these relationships are full of insecurity and hurt, not knowing what to want or how to get it. Charlie assumes most women are 'sweet' on him, but feels society has let him down. The characters Charlie comes across are friends of friends who he believes value him, but are themselves young people under pressure from the demands of adulthood, trying to prove to each other they exist by talking.
