In Symphony, theatrical narrative and live gig clash head on, combining three of the most stunning new writers in Britain today with the musical innovation of Ed Gaughan (A Midsummer Night's Dream, Lyric/Filter; Weird Tales, Radio 4). The writers commissioned to create pieces are Ella Hickson (Precious Little Talent, Trafalgar Studios; Boys, Headlong), Nick Payne (Constellations, Royal Court; If There Is I Haven't Found It Yet, Bush) and Tom Wells (The Kitchen Sink, Bush; Me, As a Penguin, Arcola). nabokov makes work in response to immediately relevant social and political themes and is a forum for artistic collaboration and innovation, dedicated to cultivating a young audience and distributing work as widely as possible.
