An incident far away in one of the world's trouble spots has dreadful consequences at home, in this exploration of the domestic fallout of war. A police detective in a murder hunt engages with callous colleagues. Two families from separate ends of the social spectrum produce two different kinds of soldier. When these two soldiers find themselves in a life or death struggle for dominance in a combat zone the stage is set for violent repercussions. Dark, violent and uncompromising, the play gains depth from the humanity of its character and challenges us to recognise our own complicity in martial atrocities and our status of victims of the forces we create and unleash.
