Her Big Chance/A Chip in the Sugar
Her Big Chance 'My hobby is people' says Lesley 'I collect people' - An admirable trait in a aspiring actress except that sadly, Lesley's career highlights so far seems to have been as background in a 'finger buffet' in Crossroads. Then a casual meeting at a party leads to her big chance. Should she be worried that the film she's up for is aimed at the video market....In Germany and Turkey? Or that, when it comes to her costume Gunther, the director, seems to feel that less is more? Maybe not! After all, as she points out, 'acting is really just giving' (Tues/Wed).
A Chip in the Sugar Graham finds life difficult enough at the best of times; when Mother meets an old flame and seems set to marry him Graham's old insecurities (Will he be parted from her? Is there someone watching the house?) rear their ugly heads again. Fate, eventually, rescues Graham and he resumes his normal life of banal muddle under his Mother's amnesiac tyranny (Thurs/Fri).
