Having developed a bold reputation for producing and celebrating gay themed work, twice winning awards at the Dublin International Gay Theatre Festival, Greenwich Theatre has now launched a new permanent strand to its year round programming which will culminate each year in THE BAND PLAYS ON, a festival of new gay-themed playwriting named in honour of Mart Crowley's 1968 classic THE BOYS IN THE BAND.
