The irrepressible Figaro, town barber and mischief-maker, learns that the dashing Count Almaviva loves the beautiful Rosina, ward of the foolish old doctor Bartholo. Figaro gleefully masterminds a plan to outwit Bartholo and win the hand of Rosina for the Count.
