The End of Innocence

The End of InnocenceT01375001414
Venice 1901 - Behind the gilt masks at a Venetian carnival, a Catholic priest re-kindles his love for the handsome Count Egano. Tullio, a debauched libertine, flits between his wife, Giuliana and his sensual mistress Teresa. Betrayed, Giuliana, strong and vibrant, falls for the romantic novelist Filippo Arborio. As rumours abound amongst Venice's decadent aristocratic society the stories entwine culminating in a passionate and shocking climax. A provocative story of love, betrayal, murder and of a homosexual priest's struggle with his love.
