The Enemy Within
T834454533
Set in Ditching Village, near Oxford, in 1648. It is apparently a peaceful and law-abiding village, remote from the turmoil of Royalist and Puritan quarrels. The advent of a parliamentary witch finder reveals a brew of spite, superstition, frustration and greed. Luckily, there is also love, loyalty and common sense. Are they enough to prevent the death of an innocent woman, and the disintegration of the community?
