n the mid-1960s, Britain remained largely oblivious to the explosion of soul music happening in the US. But in 1965 the Motown Revue landed at Heathrow Airport bringing with it a host of artists who were to become household names. Stax and Volt were two of the many record labels that followed, touring with their revues throughout Britain in the coming years. This show recreates the dynamic vocal harmonies and musical styling of those legendary revues and brings together the classic hits of Martha and the Vandellas, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, The Temptations, The Velvelettes, Bob and Earl, Dusty Springfield ... and many more.
