'Schoolboys have a master to teach them, grown-ups have the poets'. Aristophanes' greatest play is a comic masterpiece with its Monty Pythonesque humour underlined by a seriousness making it a brilliantly funny play. Dionysus journeys to Hades to find some decent dramatists.
