The House on the River
T1969461262
Poetry and music, history and imagination hold hands to evoke the colourful story of Norwich and England from Saxon times to the present day, through the life of a remarkable Tudor building on the river Wensum, now serving as the King of Hearts Centre for people and the arts. A benevolent Mayor, a royal visit, a fiery Puritan, Edwardian shopkeepers and modern day students are brought to life by Gareth Calway, with a musical background from medieval songs to Dowland and Purcel, all the way to Leonard Cohen.
