Play :: Cathy is keen to make a meaningful contribution to the war effort and joins ATS against the wishes of her parents and fiancé. She becomes a wireless operator in Special Operations recording the German Enigma signals that are dispatched to Bletchley Park for decoding but soon her frustration at not being employed to her full ability, together with her tendency to speak her mind, land her in an emotional and legal minefield.
