The Keepers
T502666905
What is it to be born into duty? And what is duty without faith? Inside the Tower of London lives an unusual set of guardians. An ancient myth became a present-day law, which demands that there be seven Ravens within the Tower grounds at all times or the tower itself will collapse and Britain will fall. A warm hearted, comic and inquisitive tale,
The Keepers follows seven characters whose whole lives are spent inside the same four walls, to defend a country they may never see. In a time where faith and duty compete against a myriad of other demands in our busy lives, the ravens question what their sacrifice means. Do the limits of duty keep us from reaching our full potential, or is it in self sacrifice and dedication that we can find the greatest evolution of ourselves?
