Timon is a successful but naive actor surrounded by shallow hangers on, painters, poets and up and coming band members. He finds himself crippled by debt and must re-mortgage his home to pay his bar bills. His friends quickly abandon him and so he takes to the streets to avoid his bailiffs and drinks himself into an asylum.
