The Lover/A Slight Ache

T01834025129
The Lover - Richard and Sarah have been married for 10 years. Every morning he commutes into the City to pore over balance sheets and graphs while at home she shows her lover 'the hollyhocks'. Everything is not quite as it seems as dark fantasy and banal reality converge to dizzying effect. A Slight Ache - Flora and Edward talk of flowers and wasps and of the slight ache which Edward feels in his eyes. They notice the mysterious match seller who has been standing by their back gate for weeks. The old man's silence sparks an eruption of buried frustrations and fears, with hilarious and shattering consequences.
