The Monotonous Drum
T22622565
Originally a poem,
The Monotonous Drum is an urgent, spoken word, theatrical performance intercut with increasingly self aware film, exploring the overarching question: "when will we women be taken seriously?". Disturbed and horrified by the actions of troubled American Elliot Rodgers earlier in the year; The Minty Crimples explore discrimination, negative stereotyping and what it means to be a feminist in 2014 in this intense, unapologetic piece.
