The Petition
T01633205927
Retired General and pillar of the establishment, Sir Edmund Milne is aghast to learn that his wife of more than fifty years is a long-standing Labour supporter, and that she has recently signed a national newspaper petition to oppose pre-emptive nuclear strikes. In the acrimonious argument that follows, infidelity of another kind raises it's head. The truth is spoken on both sides for the first time in a marriage that has survived by compromises, humour and genuine mutual fondness.
